IngleDodd Media is sales and marketing firm for the film and television industry. They were exploring the idea of automating their sales process through a custom web application. We took them through our Discovery & Design phase to learn about their pain points and create a detailed plan for development.

UI/UX

We started our Discovery process with stakeholder and end user interviews. Because the team already had a process in place, we did a thorough analysis to make sure we identified and understood every step. We interviewed end users to learn about what they liked and their pain points. Using the information from interviews, we drafted user scenarios and used those to start developing features.

Part of the technical research we did included researching other CRM systems that the IngleDodd team could use, as well as 3rd party integrations we could build into the custom web application. We provided a detailed report outlining the 3rd party tools along with the benefits and costs of using them. We also connected the team to a newer CRM that would help improve efficiencies.

During the design phase, our UX Designer mocked up low fidelity wireframes that we then tested with a couple end users. We iterated on those wireframes based on the feedback we received, and finished off with high fidelity mockups that aligned with IngleDodd’s branding.

At the end of our Discovery & Design process, we provided IngleDodd Media with a Software Specification Requirements package that included user interview findings, user scenarios, a vetted feature set list, technical architecture diagrams, research on 3rd party integrations, low fidelity wireframs, and an interactive high fidelity mockup. The IngleDodd team now has a detailed development roadmap that they can execute on.
